How to obtain SLO assistance over the summer

The Ohio Department of Education’s (ODE) Offices of Career-Technical Education and Educator Equity and Talent regrettably do not have the capacity to provide individual local district training on the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES). Due to limited state staff resources, the Student Growth Measures (also known as Student Learning Objectives) training was implemented through a “train-the-trainer” model. ODE will begin another round of trainer sessions sometime in August. Districts needing help over the summer and that have not yet been able to engage in trainer sessions to have a local process in place can do one or more of the following: 1) contact the local Educational Service Center; 2) go to the Battelle for Kids Web and engage in on-line learning on the topic; and/or 3) contact one of the following individuals below:
